About the Role:

The Talent Development Partner will work closely with the Director of Culture and Talent Development and key business leaders to identify, build, and execute a cutting-edge, outside of the box, talent development programs at SciPlay. This role will interact with key stakeholders regarding all aspects of the employee life cycle as it relates to talent development and management. The ideal candidate has a strong passion to win, displays extreme ownership, works with urgency, and fosters an environment of learning, results, and teamwork. Your role on this team will be to help create a best-in-class experience for our employees through ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the HRBP team and key business partners to create learning and development journeys that support the growth and development of technical and non-technical leaders, teams, and individuals.
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to evaluate current hiring and onboarding processes, to create a standardized, high performing onboarding process.
  • Develop and implement learning solutions tied to strategic organizational initiatives
  • Help provide guidance and advice to business partners to help them execute their strategy, including recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide support to business divisions to identify needs, desired learning outcomes, and development programs, and implement recommendations that support the achievement of business goals.
  • Collaborate with leaders on talent development plans and career paths for employees.
  • Help design, develop, and execute leadership development initiatives.
  • Champions a culture of #levelUP, and assists in career development programs and initiatives, leading development efforts for both individual contributors and people managers.
  • Present training and development programs which include in person and group settings, simulations, virtual, webinars, and more.
  • Work with the Culture and Development project lead maintaining records of training activities and results.
  • Helps evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Helps prepare and implement training budget, maintaining records of expenses.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships across all teams globally.
  • Participates in HR projects and organization wide projects as needed.


Required Experience

  • 5 years experience in training, org development, talent development, instructional design, or relevant field.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of LMS, instructional design, multimedia training options and alternatives
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and game design principles.
  • Proven record of creating and executing talent development initiatives
  • Ability to evaluate and research training platforms and methods
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Strong understanding of technical skills and competencies nneeded in the gaming industry.
  • Knowledge of Workday HRIS
